''Nongmatang'' (English: ''Only One Day'') is a 2014 Manipuri film directed by Suvas E. and produced by Ajit Yumnam and Brojen Yumnam, under the banner of Cultural Society Khuman Maheikol and presented by Skyline Pictures. It stars Kaiku Rajkumar, Abenao Elangbam and Prity Maibam in the lead, with Binitia, Ashokumar, Geetchandra, Puinabati, Priya, Nando Sharma, Brojendrakumar, Somorendro and many others playing supporting roles. The story of the film was written by Ajit Yumnam. ''Nongmatang'' got selection at the 3rd Delhi International Film Festival 2014. Kaiku Rajkumar
Rajkumar Kaiku (born ) is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Manipuri films. Kaiku made his film debut with the 2003 romantic film ''Kalpana''. He has appeared in more than 400 Manipuri films. Some of his films are ''Ta-Tomba the Great'', '' Nungshit Mapi'', and ''Mami''. In addition to films, he has also worked in ''Shumang Kumhei'' including ''Border''. He contested the 2019 Parliamentary election in the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency as an independent candidate. In February 2022, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Early life and background ''Kaiku'' was born on 3 January 1974 in Dimapur, Nagaland to RK Modhusana and RK Ongbi Reba. The Cinema of Manipur is the film industry based in Manipur, India. It includes not only Meitei language movies but all the films made in different languages of the different communities in Manipur. The Manipuri film industry was born when '' Matamgi Manipur'' was released on 9 April 1972. Before this, there were many attempts to make a film in the state, the most significant being ''Mainu Pemcha'' in 1948 which was left incomplete due to various problems.
