Nokia E72
The Nokia E72 is a smartphone that was marketed as part of Nokia's Eseries range of business-oriented products. The Nokia E72 was announced on June 15, 2009 at the Nokia Connections 2009 event in Singapore.. It is the successor to the Nokia E71 and is based on a similar design and form factor, and offers a similar feature set. It has standard features including mobile email, calendar and instant messaging among many others with its Symbian-based S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 operating system. The E72 was manufactured in Finland. It was succeeded by Nokia E6 in 2011. The Nokia E71 is a smartphone introduced on 8 May 2008 from Nokia's Eseries range with a QWERTY keyboard targeting business users worldwide. It runs on Symbian OS v9.2, with a S60 3rd Edition, second generation Feature Pack 1 interface. The S60 Platform, originally named Series 60 User Interface, is a discontinued platform (computing), software platform and graphical user interface for Mobile app, smartphones that runs on top of the Symbian operating system. Nokia E63
The Nokia E63 is a mobile phone announced on 12 November 2008 and released later that year. It is based on Symbian's S60 software platform and is considered a budget business smartphone positioned below the Nokia E71, featuring a plastic body instead of metal. Many of the specifications are identical to the E71 except for the lack of GPS and infrared port, a lesser RAM, lack of HSDPA and lower-resolution 2-megapixel camera with a fixed-focus lens. The E63 does come with a flashlight function using the camera flash, which is not present in the E71. It also has a more standardized 3.5 mm audio jack whereas the E71 uses a 2.52 mm jack as used on pre-2008 Nokia phones. In the European market, the E63 was orignally retailed for €199 before taxes.
