Nokia 1110
The Nokia 1110 and Nokia 1110i/1112 are low-end GSM mobile phones which were made by Nokia. The 1110 was released in 2005; the 1110i/1112 was released in 2006. Both were aimed at first-time mobile phone users. In Nokia's view, the 1110i had the advantage of ease-of-use, reliability and a low price. These phones are very similar to the Nokia 1100. Between January and May 2007, the 1110 was marketed by Nokia as their standard low-end monochrome model before being superseded by the Nokia 1200. One of its key markets was that of developing countries. The Nokia 1110 is the second-highest-sold mobile device of all time, selling about 250 million units. Series 30
Nokia Series 30, often shortened as S30, is a software platform and application user interface that was previously used by Nokia for its basic entry-level mobile phones. Unlike Series 40, Series 30 phones are not capable of running J2ME, Java apps and do not have Internet access for web browsing and email. The Nokia 1112 is a low-end GSM mobile phone sold by Nokia. The 1112 was released in 2006. With graphical icons and large font sizes the Nokia 1112 is an easy to use mobile phone that aims at first-time mobile phone users. As a dual-band device it operates on GSM-900/1800 or GSM-850/1900 networks. It has a 96 x 68 pixels resolution monochrome display with white backlighting and an integrated handsfree speaker. The cell phone has built in utilities, such as a calculator and a stopwatch and it supports polyphonic ringtones. Beside other basic features like SMS and picture messaging it has a speaking clock and alarm. Its internal memory is 4 MB in size, most of it reserved for the 30+ low-bitrate polyphonic melodies, and also enabling it to hold up 200 phonebook entries.
