Noel Rock
Noel Rock (born 11 November 1987) is an Irish former Fine Gael politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North-West constituency from 2016 to 2020. He previously served as Chair of the Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government from 2019 to 2020. Early life and career Rock was born in Dublin and grew up in the Ballymun and Glasnevin areas, where he was raised by his mother and grandparents. He was educated at Our Lady of Victories National Boys' School, Ballymun and St. Aidan's CBS in Whitehall. He attended Dublin City University, where he was the chair of the university's branch of Young Fine Gael. He remains an active member of Young Fine Gael. While studying at DCU, Rock interned with then US Senator Hillary Clinton as a legislative intern focusing on foreign policy. The Industrial and Commercial Panel ( ga, An Rolla Tionscail Agus Tráchtála) is one of five vocational panels which together elect 43 of the 60 members of Seanad Éireann, the upper house of the Oireachtas (the legislature of Ireland). The Industrial and Commercial Panel elects nine senators. Election Article 18 of the Constitution of Ireland provides that 43 of the 60 senators are to be elected from five vocational panels. Seanad Éireann (, ; " Senate of Ireland") is the upper house of the Oireachtas (the Irish legislature), which also comprises the President of Ireland and Dáil Éireann (the lower house). Catherine Noone
Catherine Anna Noone (born 24 June 1976) is a former Irish Fine Gael politician. She served as a Senator on the Industrial and Commercial Panel from April 2011 to March 2020. Prior to her election to the Seanad she was a member of Dublin City Council from 2009 to 2011 for the South East Inner City electoral area where she was elected on the last count over 200 votes short of a quota. Originally from County Mayo, she studied law in NUI, Galway and is a practising solicitor. She was the Fine Gael Seanad spokesperson on Arts and Culture. Noone stood for the Dáil in the 2016 general election in the four seater Dublin West constituency but was eliminated after the second count with 1,074 first preference votes. John Paul Phelan
John Paul Phelan (born 27 September 1978) is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Carlow–Kilkenny constituency since the 2011 general election. He previously served as Minister of State for Local Government and Electoral Reform from 2017 to 2020. He also served as a Senator for the Labour Panel from 2002 to 2011.
