Nobu Hayashi
Nobu Hayashi ( ja, 林伸樹; born April 27, 1978) is a professional Japanese Heavyweight karateka and kickboxer. He is a two-time K-1 Japan tournament runner-up and holds notable wins over Ben Edwards, Sander Thonhauser and Faisal Zakaria. Hayashi fights out of Dojo Chakuriki Japan in Tokyo, Japan. Hayashi was diagnosed with Leukemia, but was recently able to recover and is now cancer free. Biography and career Nobu Hayashi was born in the Japanese city of Tokushima. He learned karate while attending highschool. After his graduation in 1998 Hayashi moved to the Netherlands to train at the world famous Chakuriki Dojo under the guidance of Thom Harinck. He was very committed and eventually debuted, at the age of 19, in the K-1. Freddy Kemayo
Freddy Kemayo (born May 6, 1982) is a French heavyweight kickboxer. He is a three-time French Kickboxing Champion. Biography and career Kemayo joined Faucon Gym in 1999 and has been training there under Bingo and Richard Roudy ever since. In 2002 he became the French Kickboxing Champion and in 2003 made his K-1 debut in Milan, Italy at the K-1 Preliminary Tournament. His first success in K-1 came on April 16, 2005 at K-1 2005 Italy, when he defeated Lorenzo Borgomeo and Ionut Iftimoaie and reached the tournament finals, where he was stopped by Alexander Ustinov by unanimous decision. On February 4, 2008 at K-1 European Qualification Kemayo knocked out Sergei Gur and qualified for K-1 World GP 2008 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Nicholas Pettas
Nicholas Pettas (born January 23, 1973, in Mykonos) is a Greek- Danish karateka, former heavyweight kickboxer and actor, who fought out of Team Spirit AE in Tokyo, Japan. Pettas mainly competed in the promotion K-1 between 1998 and 2007, and was the winner of the K-1 Japan Grand Prix 2001. Although an undersized heavyweight, Pettas is known for his powerful low kicks and holds notable victories over Yusuke Fujimoto, Nobu Hayashi, Musashi, Gökhan Saki and Péter Varga. Alexey Ignashov
Alexey Victoravich Ignashov ( be, Аляксей Ігнашоў; born 18 January 1978) is a Belarusian Heavyweight kickboxer. He is a four-time Muay Thai World champion, K-1 World GP 2003 in Paris and K-1 World GP 2001 in Nagoya tournament champion. As of 2011 he is living in Auckland, New Zealand and training at Balmoral Lee Gar Gym under Lollo Heimuli. Biography He is best known for his knee strikes, notably used to score knockout wins over Badr Hari, Semmy Schilt, Nicholas Pettas, and Carter Williams. Ignashov is considered by his fans to be one of the most talented and technically sound heavyweight kickboxers in the world. Yusuke Fujimoto
Yusuke Fujimoto ( ja, 藤本祐介 ; born July 22, 1975) is a Japanese former heavyweight kickboxer who competed in K-1 and was the K-1 World GP 2007 in Hong Kong tournament champion. He is nicknamed "Bun Bun Maru" because of his tendency to throw big, swinging punches, and is distinguishable by his bald head and lack of eyebrows. He holds notable victories over Musashi, Dewey Cooper, and Francois Botha. Career Fujimoto made his professional kickboxing debut at K-1 Rising 2000 on January 25, 2000 and scored a second round TKO victory over Masanobu Yamanaka. Dewey Cooper (born November 10, 1974) is an American former kickboxer and boxer who competed in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. After becoming a two-time world champion in 2000 by taking the WKC heavyweight and WKF cruiserweight titles, he would go on to become a regular competitor in the K-1 promotion's US events.
