Noblejas is a municipality of Spain located in the province of Toledo, Castilla–La Mancha. The municipality spans across a total area of 69.67 km2 and, as of 1 January 2021, it has a registered population of 3,721. Radio Exterior (the Spanish state's international shortwave station) has transmitter its 0.5 km (500 yards) south of Noblejas. It belongs to the traditional ''comarca'' of Mesa de Ocaña. History In 1149 it was reported to be a hamlet belonging to ''Aurelia'' (Oreja). Radio Exterior de España (REE), or simply Radio Exterior, is a Spanish free-to-air radio station owned and operated by Radio Nacional de España (RNE), the radio division of state-owned public broadcaster Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE). The Order of Santiago (; ) is a religious and military order founded in the 12th century. It owes its name to the patron saint of Spain, ''Santiago'' ( St. James the Greater). Its initial objective was to protect the pilgrims on the Way of St. James, to defend Christendom and to remove the Muslim Moors from the Iberian Peninsula with the Reconquista.
