Noam Bramson
Noam Bramson (born December 13, 1969) is an American politician from the state of New York (state), New York. He was the List of mayors of New Rochelle, New York, mayor of New Rochelle, New York, and has served since being appointed in January 2006 to complete the unexpired term of Mayor Timothy C. Idoni. Bramson was reelected in 2011 with 79% of the vote. Prior to becoming mayor, Bramson served for ten years on the New Rochelle City Council as a representative of the Fifth City District. In 2013 Bramson was nominated by the Westchester County Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party to be its candidate for Westchester County Executive against incumbent Republican Rob Astorino. Everytown for Gun Safety is an American non-profit organization which advocates for gun control and against gun violence. Everytown was formed in 2013 due to a merger between ''Mayors Against Illegal Guns'' and ''Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America''. Nita Lowey
Nita Sue Lowey ( ; Melnikoff; July 5, 1937 – March 15, 2025) was an American politician who served as a U.S. Representative from New York from 1989 until 2021. She was a member of the Democratic Party. Lowey also served as co-dean of the New York congressional delegation, along with former U.S. Representative Eliot Engel. Lowey's district was numbered as the 20th from 1989 to 1993, as the 18th from 1993 to 2013, and as the beginning in 2013.
