No Way To Treat An Animal
''No Way to Treat an Animal'' is the debut extended play (EP) by Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane, which was issued independently on 16 November 2017. It was predominantly produced by Rob Grant in East Fremantle. Supported by the band's debut single "Still Running" and their breakthrough hit "Feeding the Family", the EP peaked at number 23 on the ARIA Charts in December 2020, three years after its release. Background Spacey Jane was formed in 2016 by Caleb Harper and Kieran Lama from Geraldton, Western Australia. Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu and Amelia Murray met through university; Lama then met Le Cornu through a mutual relationship. From 2016 to 2017, the band played at local venues very regularly, with Lama estimating that when they started, they "played one or two shows a week for a good year and a half." Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication).
