No Remorse Tour
The No Remorse Tour, sometimes called No Remorse Death on the Road Tour was a concert tour by heavy metal band Motörhead in support of their compilation album, '' No Remorse.'' It would be the first tour for the new line up of Phil Campbell, Würzel, and Pete Gill. Background Around 1984, Motorhead were beginning to feel that they wished to leave their current record label, Bronze Records. However, over two years ensured of legal issues that kept the band from recording an album. On top of this, Phil Campbell was still contracted with his previous band, Persian Risk's label, Metal Masters. Drummer Pete Gill was also still in litigation with some money that his previous band, Saxon had owed him. As a result of this, only Lemmy and Würzel were able to take credit on the new tracks in ''No Remorse.'' As a result, the band decided that for the time being, doing a tour would be good. Motörhead
Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motörhead, most of their best-selling albums and singles feature drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. "Bomber" is a song by the English heavy metal band Motörhead, recorded and released in 1979 (see 1979 in music). It is the title track to their album ''Bomber'' and was released as a single peaking at 34 on the UK Singles Chart. Siilinjärvi () is a municipality of Finland. It is located in Northern Savonia, north of the city of Kuopio, which largely surrounds Siilinjärvi. Another neighbour municipality with Kuopio is Lapinlahti. The name, in Finnish, apparently translates literally as "Hedgehog's Lake", although its etymology actually stems from a Sámi word meaning winter dwelling. Kasino is an eurodance group from Brazil. The group consists of Fabio Almeida and Ian Duarte, the founding members, and Fher Cassini who fronted the project. Conceived to be only a studio project, Kasino rose to fame after the sudden inclusion of their first single "Can't Get Over" on the official soundtrack of the telenovela América. Quickly the music became a hit in Brazil. Some people who knew the group did not know that it was composed by Brazilians. Lepakko or Lepakkoluola was a self-managed social centre in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland, functioning from 1979 to 1999. History The building was a paint company warehouse located at Porkkalankatu 1 in the Ruoholahti district of Helsinki, which had been built in 1940. It then became derelict and the City Council of Helsinki opened a hostel for alcoholics on 5 December 1967, in response to public outcry when several homeless alcoholics had frozen to death in the cold of winter. It hosted up to one thousand people and was called Liekkihotelli, or the Flame Hotel. Occupation Lepakko ( Finnish for bat) was squatted in 1979 and used as a music venue, also providing practice rooms for bands, theatre rehearsal space and a dance school.
