No Obligation
''No Obligation'' is the second studio album by American rock band the Linda Lindas. Epitaph Records released the album on October 11, 2024. It was produced again by Carlos de la Garza, the father of band members Lucia and Mila de la Garza. Recording sessions for ''No Obligation'' took place at Henson Recording, Sunset Sound, and Music Friends Studios in Los Angeles in 2024. Six singles were released from the album: "Too Many Things", "Resolution/Revolution", "All in My Head", "Yo Me Estreso", and the title track "No Obligation", and "Nothing Would Change". Background Following the release of their debut studio album, ''Growing Up'' (2022), "Too Many Things" was the Linda Lindas' first release of 2023. The band subsequently opened for Paramore on the North American leg of the This Is Why Tour. The Linda Lindas
The Linda Lindas is an American rock band from Los Angeles. The all-female group comprises Bela Salazar, Eloise Wong, and sisters Lucia and Mila de la Garza. The band formed in 2018, and took their name from '' Linda Linda Linda'', a Japanese film. After being noticed by director Amy Poehler, they recorded the soundtrack for her film ''Moxie'', which was released in 2021. Later that year, they released the single " Racist, Sexist Boy", which went viral. Epitaph Records signed them shortly afterwards. In 2022, they released their debut album, '' Growing Up'', and received mostly positive reviews. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Although the term was originally used to describe rock music released through independent record labels, by the 1990s it became more widely associated with the music such bands produced. Each issue includes opinion and commentary of the indie music scene as well as reviews of books, DVDs, and albums. The magazine posts web-exclusive interviews and reviews on its website. Items are reviewed based on a rating system in which each album, book, and DVD receives a rating from 1 to 10. The magazine has been in publication since late 2001 and is issued three times per year. New Wave Music
New wave is a music genre that encompasses pop music, pop-oriented styles from the 1970s through the 1980s. It is considered a lighter and more melodic "broadening of Punk subculture, punk culture". Power pop (also typeset as powerpop) is a subgenre of rock music and form of pop rock based on the early music of bands such as the Who, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Byrds.
