Nissan Bevel
The Nissan Bevel was a concept crossover SUV unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show. It was of asymmetrical design, with regular front and rear doors on the passenger side, but just one large driver's side door. Carlos Tavares, Nissan Motor Co. executive president of global product planning and design, said the Bevel was a design study for 45- to 60-year-old male customers who like to keep many tools in their vehicle, transport things, do projects outside the house and only rarely carry passengers. The owner would be driving alone 90 percent of the time, Tavares imagined. The Bevel showed innovative power folding seats, with front-hinged seat-bases, to first fold over upward and forward – giving way to the seatbacks folding forward conventionally, and fully flat, resulting in a single, flat, long load space from the dashboard rearwards. is a Japanese multinational Automotive industry, automobile manufacturer headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. A crossover, crossover SUV, or crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is a type of automobile with an increased ride height that is built on unibody chassis construction shared with passenger cars, as opposed to traditional sport utility vehicles ( SUVs), which are built on a body-on-frame chassis construction similar to pickup trucks. A term that originated from North America, the term crossover was initially used for any vehicle that blends characteristics between two different kinds of vehicles while, over time, crossover predominantly refers to unibody-based SUVs. Bevel
A bevelled edge (UK) or beveled edge (US) is an edge of a structure that is not perpendicular to the faces of the piece. The words bevel and chamfer overlap in usage; in general usage, they are often interchanged, while in technical usage, they may be differentiated as shown in the image on the right. A concept car (also known as a concept vehicle or show vehicle) is a car made to showcase new styling or new technology. Concept cars are often exhibited at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and radical designs which may or may not be produced. General Motors designer Harley Earl is generally credited with inventing the concept car, and did much to popularize it through its traveling Motorama shows of the 1950s. Concept cars never go into production directly. In modern times, all would have to undergo many changes before the design is finalized for the sake of practicality, safety, regulatory compliance, and cost. Nissan Quest
The Nissan Quest was a minivan manufactured and marketed by Nissan for model years 1993–2017 over four generations. The first two generations (internally designated V40 and V41) of the Quest were short-wheelbase models co-developed and manufactured with Ford, aside its badge engineering, badge engineered Mercury Villager. For model year 2004 and the third generation (V42), Nissan ended its joint venture with Ford, manufacturing the Quest on its own. For model year 2011, the fourth generation (RE52) became a widened variant of the Nissan Elgrand minivan and was now manufactured in Japan.
