Ghantaghar
Ghantaghar (literally clock-tower) is a location in the center of Chandni Chowk, Delhi, where an iconic clock tower, termed Northbrook Clocktower during early 20th century, stood. The clock tower was built in 1870 and stood there until its partial collapse and subsequent demolition in 1950s. The term "Chandni Chowk" (translation: ''silvery or moonlit square'') originally referred to this location which later came to designate the entire street. The Ghantaghar location has been regarded as the center of Delhi, and even now serves as a center for major civic events. Today, it is an open and congested area. The Delhi Town Hall is located just to the north of this site. Qaisery Gate (Rail Bazar)
The Qaisery Gate was the gate into the eight markets with the Faisalabad Clock Tower at the centre. It was built in 1897 under the commission of the British Raj in the then newly-emerging city of Faisalabad, Punjab. Gumti Water Fountain
The Gumti Water Fountain is a monument in Faisalabad, Pakistan preserved from the British Raj era. It was built during the early nineteenth century and was a general meeting place of the city folk for local town meetings. Faisalabad Railway Station (, ) is located in Faisalabad city (formerly Lyallpur), Punjab province of Pakistan on the Khanewal-Wazirabad Branch Line. The station serves as the main train line hub for Faisalabad and grants rail access to Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Quetta, and Peshawar via direct routes. Faisalabad Clock Tower
The Faisalabad Clock Tower ( Punjabi, ), formerly known as the Lyallpur Clock Tower, is a clock tower in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, and is one of the oldest monuments still standing in its original state from the period of the British Raj. It was built in 1905 by the British, when they ruled much of South Asia during the early 20th century. The decision to build the clock tower on this spot was made by the then Jhang deputy commissioner Sir James Lyall. The foundation of the majestic Clock Tower was laid on 14 November 1905 by the British lieutenant governor of Punjab Sir Charles Montgomery Rivaz. A water well formerly existed at the exact location of the Clock Tower which was filled with earth. The red sandstone used in its construction was brought from Sangla Hill Tehsil, about 50 kilometers away.The fund was collected at a rate of Rs. 18 per square of land.
