Margarete Nischwitz
Margarete Nischwitz (born Margarete Stock; 17 October 1891 – 10 December 1979) was a German political activist and politician ( KPD). She sat as a member of the Saxony regional parliament (''Landtag'') in Dresden between 1929 and 1933. Life Margarete "Grete" Stock was born in Chemnitz. She grew up in a one-parent family. Her mother was a textiles worker. Margarete Stock also worked in the textiles sector. In 1912 she married Paul Nischwitz. 1912 was also the year in which she joined the Social Democratic Party (''"Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands"'' / SPD). In 1917 she was one of many left wing party activists who broke away, forming the Independent Social Democratic Party (''"Unabhängige Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands"'' / USPD). A party split had been brewing since 1914 when the party leadership had implemented what amounted to a parliamentary truce over voting in the Reichstag to fund the war. Nischwitz Stadium
Nischwitz Stadium is a baseball venue located in Fairborn, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Wright State Raiders of the Horizon League that competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level. The facility has chairback seating for 750 spectators. The stadium is named for Ron Nischwitz and Gregg Nischwitz. Ron coached the program for 30 years, and his son Gregg played one season for the Raiders. However, he died in a 1980 construction accident. Ron Nischwitz
Ronald Lee Nischwitz (born July 1, 1937) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who played from 1961 to 1963, and again in 1965, for the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians. A switch-hitter, he threw left-handed, was tall and weighed . Before playing professional baseball, he attended Fairview High School and then Ohio State University. Signed by the Tigers as an amateur free agent in 1958, Nischwitz made his big league debut on September 4, 1961, against the Baltimore Orioles. He pitched two perfect innings, striking out three batters. He played in a total of six games in his rookie year, going 0–1 with a 5.56 ERA. In 1962, Nischwitz was the Tigers' most used reliever, appearing in 48 games. He went 4–5 with a 3.90 ERA. In 64 innings, he struck out only 28 batters but proved to be a solid hitter, collecting five hits — including a triple — in 12 at-bats, for a .417 batting average. Andreas Nischwitz
Andreas Nischwitz (born 1 April 1957) is a former West German pair skater. He was born in Leinfelden, Germany. With partner Susanne Scheibe, he won the gold medal at the German Figure Skating Championships in 1977 and 1978, finishing eighth at both the European Figure Skating Championships and World Figure Skating Championships in both years. He then teamed with Christina Riegel and won the German title three straight years, starting in 1979.
