Nisar Rahmath
Nisar Rahmath is an Indian costume designer working in the Malayalam film industry. He received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Costume Designer in 2015 for his work in ''Jo and the Boy''. Career Nisar Rahmath, originally from Mannarkkad, began his professional journey as a tailor before entering the film industry. His first full-time work in costume design was as an assistant on the 2010 film '' Kadaksham'', under designer S.B. Satheeshan. He went on to work as a costume assistant in around 40 films. He debuted as an independent costume designer with the 2015 Malayalam film ''Jo and the Boy''. His work in the film earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Costume Designer. Nisar later worked on films such as '' Avarude Raavukal'' (2017), where he created distinctive looks for each lead character. Kerala State Film Award For Best Costume Designer
The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala. The awards started in 1969 by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala and since 1998 the awards have been bestowed by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs. The awardees are decided by an independent jury formed by the academy and the Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Kerala. The jury usually consists of eminent personalities from the film field. For the awards for literature on cinema a separate jury is formed. The academy annually invites films for the award and the jury analyses the films that are submitted before deciding the winners. The awards intends to promote films with artistic values and encourage artists, technicians and producers. Harikumar (director)
Harikumar (1956 – 6 May 2024) was an Indian screenwriter and film director, who worked in Malayalam films. He wrote screenplay, story, and dialogues for more than 20 Malayalam films. He directed films including '' Sukrutham'', ''Ayanum'', and ''Udhyanapalakan''. He was a member of the National Film Awards Jury in 2005 and 2008.
