Nippon TeleMovie Productions
is the first anime TV series based on Fujiko F. Fujio's manga of the same name. It was produced by Nippon TeleMovie Productions. It aired from April 1, 1973, to September 30, 1973. After the anime's original run ended, it reaired on multiple different stations until 1981 even while Shin-Ei Animation was producing a more successful second anime adaptation, which officially ended in 2005; it was in turn replaced by a third anime adaptation shortly after which continues to air to the present day. The series is now considered as a piece of lost media due to its rarity with many segments going completely missing and obscurity due to airing only in one decade and being replaced by a much more successful adaption. Of the 52 produced segments, only 19 of them and the pilot film are known to survive in their complete form, with 4 other segments surviving in a near complete state. ''Doraemon'' ( ja, ドラえもん ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The manga was first serialized in December 1969, with its 1,345 individual chapters compiled into 45 ''tankōbon'' volumes and published by Shogakukan from 1970 to 1996. The story revolves around an earless robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi. The manga spawned a media franchise. Kazue Takahashi
, known by the stage name , was a Japanese actress and voice actress. Kazue was best known as the voice of Shoutarou Kaneda ("Jimmy Sparks") in ''Tetsujin 28-go'' (" Gigantor"). She debuted in 1949. Kazue was also known for roles in Kaiju Booska and Sazae-san. Kazue graduated from Kasei-Gakuin University. In February 1998, she came down with myelodysplastic syndrome and was transported to the Bunkyo-ku Tokyo University hospital. Three days after her 70th birthday, Kazue died in the Bunkyo-ku Tokyo University hospital annex. She presumably died from bone marrow cancer. In February 2010, she received a posthumous "Special Merit Award" from the 4th Seiyū Awards.
