Ninette Ann Finch (''née'' Iles; born 17 May 1933) is an English actress, known for being one of the most prolific television extras in the United Kingdom. After retiring from her job at a bank, she became an extra and has since appeared in over 1,000 television shows and films. Her notable roles include Augusta Longbottom in the film '' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2'' and Annie in the Channel 4 comedy series '' Derek'' (2012–2014). Life and career Finch was born Ninette Ann Iles on 17 May 1933 in Croydon, Surrey to Francis and Helen Iles (''née'' Ridley). ''Ninette'' is an opéra comique in three acts, with music by Charles Lecocq and words by Charles Clairville Jr, Eugène Hubert, G. Lebeaut and Ch. de Trogoff. It was first performed at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens, Paris, on 28 February 1896. The opera depicts the complicated but ultimately successful course of true love between two French couples in the reign of Louis XIII (reigned 1610–1643). The two leading characters, Cyrano de Bergerac and Ninon de Lenclos, are loosely based on historical figures. This fictionalisation of Cyrano preceded, and is quite different from, Cyrano de Bergerac (play), Edmond Rostand's well-known version, which was written the following year. Ninette is an unincorporated community recognized as a local urban district located in Manitoba, Canada at the north end of Pelican Lake. It is located in the Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes. Ninette has many small businesses, and is known locally for its wide range of sports facilities. In the summer, activities such as boating, fishing, and hunting are offered, while snowmobiling and ice fishing are offered during the wintertime. History Ninette's original post office was established in 1883 on a site near Overend Lake. It was later moved, following the construction of the Northern Pacific and Manitoba Railway in the area, to its current site near Pelican Lake, closer to the railway.
