Nim Dorjee Tamang
Nim Dorjee Tamang (born 30 October 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Indian Super League club Hyderabad. Career Born in Melli, Sikkim, Tamang started playing football with the Namchi Sports Hostel before joining the Air Force Academy from 2009 to 2010. After making appearances with the India under-16 side, Tamang joined Shillong Lajong's youth team. Tamang was given a place in Shillong Lajong's first-team squad for the 2014–15 season. He made his professional debut in the Federation Cup against Pune on 29 December 2014. He started the match as Shillong Lajong were defeated 1–3. A month later, on 18 January 2015, Tamang made his competitive league debut in the I-League against Royal Wahingdoh. He started the match but couldn't prevent Shillong Lajong from losing 1–2. Melli (also spelled Malli) is a town on the West Bengal-Sikkim border near the River Teesta. The town consists of two markets, one lying on NH10 in Kalimpong district of West Bengal and the other in Namchi district of Sikkim. Melli Railway Station of Sevoke-Rangpo Railway Line lies in Melli at Kalimpong district, West Bengal. Melli in the Nepali language means "the place where the dead are cremated". 2018–19 Indian Super League Season
The 2018–19 Indian Super League season was the fifth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. It was established in 2013. The regular season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 17 March 2019. The league took a mid-season break for around one month from 17 December 2018 to early January 2019 due to India's participation in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Chennaiyin were the defending champions, having defeated Bengaluru in the 2018 final, however they did not qualify for the playoffs having finished the last in the regular season. The 2014 AFC U-19 Championship qualification was the qualification round for the 2014 AFC U-19 Championship, which took place in Myanmar. 2017–18 ISL Players Draft
The 2017–18 ISL Players Draft was a players draft conducted by the Indian Super League on 23 July 2017. Format Regulations for the 2017–18 Indian Super League season allow for each club to have a minimum of 15 Indian players and a maximum of 18, which include two mandatory under-21 players. Prior to the draft, each club was allowed to retain a maximum of two senior players from the previous season (2016–17 I-League for Bengaluru FC) as well as retaining up to three under-21 players. The draft had a total of 15 rounds. New expansion side, Jamshedpur FC, had the first pick in both the first and second rounds.
