Nilson Corrêa Júnior (born 26 December 1975), known simply as Nilson, is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper, currently head coach of Campeonato Cearense club . Most of his professional career was spent in Portugal with Vitória de Guimarães, where he appeared in 226 competitive matches over seven seasons, six spent in the Primeira Liga. He also played for three years with Persepolis in Iran. Playing career Club Brazil Born in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Nílson started his career at Esporte Clube Vitória, signing with Santa Cruz Futebol Clube in 1999 and achieving promotion from the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in the same year. José Nilson dos Santos Silva (born 6 April 1991), simply known as Nilson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Born in São Paulo, Nilson joined Vasco da Gama's youth setup in 2010, after starting it out at Portuguesa. He made his first team – and Série A – debut for the former on 6 June 2010, starting in a 0–4 away loss against Santos. After being rarely used by Vasco, Nilson was loaned to Série B sides Criciúma, Paraná and Bragantino, but appeared sparingly for all clubs, and was released in December 2013. On 28 February 2014, Nilson joined Boa Esporte permanently, but after again being a backup, moved to Icasa on 19 September. With the latter he scored a brace in a 3–1 home win against Náutico on 1 November. On 16 January 2015, Nilson signed for São Bento. John Nilson
John Nilson (born July 9, 1951) is a retired Canadian politician from Saskatchewan. He was a Saskatchewan New Democratic Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the Regina Lakeview constituency from 1995 to 2016. He served as interim leader of the party from 2011 to 2013. Early life and career Nilson was born in Saskatoon and was raised in Western Canada. He pursued his education at Pacific Lutheran University, the University of Oslo, St. Olaf College, and the University of British Columbia, where he obtained his law degree in 1977. He was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 1978 and the Saskatchewan bar in 1979. He practiced law and mediation with Macpherson, Leslie and Tyerman until he was first elected to the Legislature in 1995. Lars Fredrik Nilson
Lars Fredrik Nilson (27 May 1840 – 14 May 1899) was a Swedish chemist, professor at Uppsala University, and later Director of the Agricultural Chemical Experiment Station at the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry in Stockholm. He discovered the element scandium in 1879, by separating out scandium(III) oxide, also known as scandia. In addition to his work concerning the analytic chemistry of elements and rare earths, he made substantial contributions to Swedish agriculture, including methods of fertilization and the introduction of sugar beets as a crop. Education Nilson was born in Skönberga parish in Östergötland, Sweden. Later his family relocated to the island of Gotland, where his father, Nikolaus, owned the farm Rosendal in Follingbo. Anton Nilson
Anton Nilson (11 November 1887 – 16 August 1989) was a Swedish terrorist and militant socialist who was convicted of murder for a fatal bombing in 1908. Nilson was born and grew up in a peasant region in Skåne, the southernmost province of Sweden. He became a construction worker in 1906, by which time he had already become a socialist. ''Amalthea'' bombing In the summer of 1908 the workers in the docks of Malmö went on strike for better conditions. The police and military were called in to keep order, and the employers took in British workers to do the job. This was considered highly provocative by the striking Swedish workers. Gunnar Nilson
Lars ''Gunnar'' Edvard Nilson (28 September 1872 – 28 March 1951) was a Swedish physician. He passed his '' mogenhetsexamen'' in 1890 and earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from Uppsala University in 1895. Nilson conducted study trips across several European countries before becoming a naval doctor for the Swedish Navy from 1898 to 1902. He completed his Licentiate of Medicine at the Karolinska Institute in 1899 and later became a naval surgeon in Karlskrona, where he oversaw the rebuilding of the Navy's hospital between 1906 and 1911. Nilson earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1911 and served as Surgeon-in-Chief of the Swedish Navy from 1917 to 1937 and head of the Swedish Naval Medical Officers' Corps, also holding numerous prestigious positions within the medical and insurance sectors. Johan Ernst Nilson (born 4 August 1969 is a Swedish explorer, known as an "environmental explorer" because of his interest in environment and climate-related issues. Life and career Nilson was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He has completed 28 expeditions, visiting around 100 countries. He also gives lectures about motivation and environmental awareness.
