Nils Claesson
Nils Taki Claesson (born 1958 in Stockholm), is an artist, filmmaker, author, and artistic researcher at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Life Claesson received his PhD in fine arts from the Film and Media Department at Stockholm University of the Arts with the dissertation ''The Ghost Machine: Seven changes and transitions – animation processes in animated film''. Claesson joined the newspaper ETC 1979–1984, where he was a co-owner for a while. He had acting roles in two films in the 1980s, among other things in Stig Larsson's film Ängel, but he has mainly directed, written manuscript and worked with animated films and radio documentaries. He has been working with digital media since the mid-1990s, and has played a central role in the development of Swedish digital art through his work for the artistic creative space for art and computing (CRAC), where he was chairman from 2002 to 2005. Stig Håkan Larsson is a Swedish writer of novels, dramas, poetry, political essays and short stories, film writer, director and actor. Biography Larsson was born on 20 July 1955, in Skellefteå, Västerbottens län. He grew up in Umeå and currently lives in Stockholm. In the late 1970, his namesake and friend, Stieg Larsson, ne Stig, the well-known author of the Millennium series, changed slightly the spelling of his first name to avoid confusion with Stig, by then a well-known writer. Stig Claesson
John Stig Claesson (2 June 1928 – 4 January 2008), also known under his signature Slas, was a Swedish writer, visual artist, and illustrator. Claesson was born on 2 June 1928 in Huddinge, south of Stockholm. He attended the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts between 1947 and 1952, during which time he began to illustrate Swedish literature such as the novels of Per Anders Fogelström. Claesson is the father of actor Leif Claesson. His son, artist Nils Claesson, published a revealing portrait of his father in the book ''Blåbärsmaskinen'' (The Blueberry Machine, 2009) which was much discussed in Sweden on its publication. Stig Claesson died on 4 January 2008 in Stockholm. Career Claesson debuted in his writing career in 1956, when he was 28 years of age. During his career Claesson published more than 80 books.
