He had two wives, Churamoni and Prasanyamoyee. Nilmoni died in 1904. He got a son by Churamoni who died in his early age. At that time the British rulers strictly banned firing of a cannon. Mallabhum (The Country originally known as Mallabhoom or Mallabani bn, মল্লভূম or Bishnupur kingdom ) was the kingdom ruled by the Malla kings of Bishnupur, primarily in the present Bankura district in Indian state of West Bengal. The core area would cover present day Bankura police station area (excluding Chhatna), Onda, Bishnupur, Kotulpur and Indas. Kalipada Singha Thakur was the last King of Malla dynasty of Bishnupur. He became King of Mallabhum in the year 1930 C.E.Malabhum Bishnupur-Chandra, Manoranjan; 2004; Kolkata. First opinion Prasannyamoyee another queen of Ramkrishna Singha Dev. had a daughter named Indumati, who was married with Anandaballav Singha Thakur. They had a son named Kalipada. After the queen Dwhajamoni died, Prasannyamoyee called kalipada and he was enthroned on the throne of the Mallabhum. In this way the throne was transferred from Singha Dev to Singha Thakurs.
