Nikos Gioutsos
Nikos Gioutsos (; 16 April 1942 – 7 November 2023) was a Greek footballer who played as a striker. From the special style of play and the passion together with the dynamism he brought to the matches, the fans shouted the slogan "Έμπαινε Γιούτσο" (Enter and destroy the opponents) which became a song and line in old Greek movies. Early life Nikos Gioutsos was born in Makrochori on 16 April 1942. His family was slavophone. During the Greek Civil War, residents of Makrochori were supporting DSE and were bombed by EDES. After the death of 69 people, DSE's guerillas took 219 children from the village with their parents assent, and sent to Eastern Europe for protection. Gioutsos who was paternal orphan and his mother remarried, moved to Hungary along with his sister. They were living in a college which was similar to an orphanage in Belogiannis village. Makrochori
Makrochori (, before 1928: Κωνομπλάτη – ''Konomplati''; Bulgarian and Macedonian: Кономлади, ''Konomladi''), is a village of Kastoria regional unit in Western Macedonia, Greece. History According to a local legend, the village was founded by three brothers who fled from the Ottoman Turks in the village of Tser. The castle of Makrochori is located 4 km west of the village, is considered a large organized facility. The settlement developed on the bank of the present river , reaches up to a point, its citadel, and hosted an important mining center of Orestis since in many places volumes of iron ore were found. A village in Petrich Municipality, Blagoevgrad Province, Bulgaria, is named Novo Konomladi (, "New Konomladi"). The Greek Football Cup (), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Betsson Greek Cup for sponsorship reasons is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second-most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League.
