Nikolai Ozerov
Nikolai Nikolayevich Ozerov (; 11 December 1922 – 2 June 1997) was a Russian tennis player and actor, who was best known as a leading sports commentator of the Soviet Union in the 1950s–80s. He was awarded the Olympic Order in 1992, and received the Paul Loicq Award in 2016. Summit Series
The Summit Series, Super Series 72, Canada–USSR Series (), or Series of the Century (), was an eight-game ice hockey series between the Soviet Union and Canada, held in September 1972. It was the first competition between the Soviet national team and a Canadian team represented by professional players of the National Hockey League (NHL), known as ''Team Canada''. It was the first international ice hockey competition for Canada after they had withdrawn from such competitions in a dispute with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The series was organized with the intention to create a true best-against-best competition in the sport of ice hockey. Anna Dmitrieva
Anna Vladimirovna Dmitrieva (; 10 December 1940 — 24 June 2024) was a tennis player who competed for the Soviet Union, as well as a sports commentator. Biography Anna Dmitrieva started playing tennis at the age of 12. In less than a year she had won the Moscow junior championships as a member of the Dynamo team, and the next year she also became Moscow junior singles champion. At the age of 16 she was allowed to play at senior tournaments, and in a year she became champion of Moscow in singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. In 1958, when the USSR joined the International Tennis Federation, Dmitrieva became a member of the first Soviet delegation at the Wimbledon Championships. She reached the final of the junior girls' tournament. In 1958–1967, Dmitrieva won 18 titles in the Soviet Championships: five times in singles, nine in women's doubles and four times in mixed doubles. Yevgeni Aleksandrovich Mayorov (; 11 February 1938 – 10 December 1997) was a Russian ice hockey forward who played in the Soviet Hockey League for Spartak Moscow. Vladimir Ivanovich Pereturin (; 23 May 1938, Moscow – 22 May 2017, Moscow) was a Russian Soviet football player. He was winner of the Spartakiad of Peoples of the RSFSR (1959) and Master of Sports of the USSR. He was best known as a TV commentator and host of ' Football Review' and 'Goal!'
