Nikolai Knyzhov
Nikolai Alexandrovich Knyzhov (; born 20 March 1998) is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League (AHL). He previously played for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL) and SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Knyzhov first played as a youth in his native Russia with hometown club, Energia Kemerovo, before moving to North America to play amateur junior hockey in Phoenix, Arizona with the Phoenix Firebirds and Jr. Coyotes. He was selected 41st overall in the 2015 CHL Import Draft by the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He joined the Pats in the 2015–16 season, registering just one assist in 19 games, before being placed on waivers by the team and opting to return the United States, playing with the Springfield Jr. Blues and Austin Bruins in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Kemerovo ( rus, Ке́мерово, p=ˈkʲemʲɪrəvə) is an industrial types of inhabited localities in Russia, city and the administrative center of Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Iskitimka River, Iskitimka and Tom Rivers, in the major coal mining region of the Kuznetsk Basin. Ottawa Senators
The Ottawa Senators (), officially the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and colloquially known as the Sens, are a professional ice hockey team based in Ottawa. Nicolas Meloche (born July 18, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Meloche was selected 40th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Meloche was drafted by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the 1st round (15th overall) of the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft. During his first season with Baie-Comeau, Meloche scored 25 points in 54 games to set a franchise record for most points by a rookie defenceman, and his outstanding play was recognized when he was named to the 2013–14 QMJHL All-Rookie Team. Nick DeSimone (born November 21, 1994) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Utah Mammoth of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career He played college ice hockey at Union College. Undrafted, he signed a two-year contract with the San Jose Sharks on March 30, 2017, and was later re-signed to a two-year contract on July 11, 2019. The 2019–20 NHL season was the 103rd season of operation (102nd season of play) of the National Hockey League. Dinamo Riga () is a professional ice hockey team based in Riga, Latvia. It most recently was a member of the Latvian Hockey Higher League. The club is affiliated with HK Zemgale/LBTU. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar.
