Nikola Borisov
Nikola Borisov ( Bulgarian: Никола Борисов; born 21 November 2000) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a defender for CSKA Sofia II. Career Borisov started his career in the local CSKA Sofia Academy aged seven. In 2018 he was called up for the first team, after his good season with U19 team and the second team. In 2019 he was sent on loan to Litex Lovech and Neftochimic Burgas, before being released in 2021 and join the amateur team Nadezhda Dobroslavtsi. In July 2021 Borisov joined the returned to Second League team of Spartak Varna, establishing himself in the starting team and helping the team to secure his return to First League. Borisov scored his debut top league goal on 20 August 2022 in a league defeat against Arda Kardzhali. FC Arda Kardzhali
FC Arda 1924 Kardzhali ( bg, ПФК Арда Кърджали) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Kardzhali, which currently competes in the First League, the top tier of the Bulgarian football league system. It was founded on 13 October 1924, as an association football branch of a larger sports society in the town. The club was reestablished in 2015, after its former entity was dissolved. Named after the Arda river, a tributary of the Maritsa, Arda's home ground is the Arena Arda in Kardzhali, which has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. 2021–22 Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2021–22 Second League is the 67th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 6th season under this name and current league structure. For this season, the league was expanded from 17 to 20 teams, with four teams promoted from the Third League, as well as two reserve teams being added to the league. This makes this season the largest in terms of number of teams competing since the 2011–12 season, when 20 teams competed in two separate divisions. The group is equivalent to the third level of the Bulgarian football pyramid, comprising four divisions based on geographical areas. The 2019–20 Second League was the 65th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 4th season under this name and current league structure. The season began in July 2019 and ended in May 2020, but without playing all the scheduled games. The two promotion/relegation playoffs (involving teams from the First League as well) were held in July 2020. The 2018–19 Second League was the 63rd season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 3rd season under this name and current league structure. In June 2018, the Executive Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union decided to increase the participating teams to 18 for the 2019–20 season; as a result, only two teams will be relegated to Third League. The season is the second with a new league structure and strict financial criteria where 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league is split up in championship and relegation playoffs. Bulgarian Supercup
The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy.
