Nikki Hembrom (born 1978) is an Indian politician from Bihar. She is an MLA from Katoria Assembly constituency which is reserved for ST community in Banka district representing Bharatiya Janata Party. She won the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. Early life and education Hembrom is from Belhar, Banka district. Her husband Ramesh Hembrom is a businessman. She completed her doctorate in 2012 and earned her Ph.D. at S.K.M. University, Dumka. Banka District
Banka is one of the thirty-eight districts of the state of Bihar in India. The district headquarters of Banka is situated in Banka town. The district was established on 21 February 1991. History Banka is the homeland of the revolutionary Satish Prasad Jha, one of seven martyrs who hoisted the flag of India at the Secretariat building near Patna on 11 August 1942. Jha was born in Kharhara near Dhakamod. Bhubaneswar Mishra, a noted regional revolutionary from village Faga has contributed a lot in the freedom movement. The Bihar Legislative Assembly election was held in three phases through October–November to elect members to the Seventeenth Bihar Legislative Assembly. The term of the previous Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Bihar ended on 29 November 2020. Dumka ( Santali: ᱫᱩᱢᱠᱟᱹ), the headquarters of the Dumka district and Santhal Pargana region, is a city in the state of Jharkhand, India.
