Nicholette "Nikki" Gold is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Steve Gerber, Mary Skrenes, and Al Milgrom, the character First appearance, first appeared in ''Marvel Presents'' #4 (April 1976). Nicholette Gold has been a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy (1969 team), Guardians of the Galaxy at various points in her history. Development Concept and creation Mercurians first appeared in ''Defenders (comics), The Defenders'' vol. 1 #26 (August 1975). Nicholette Gold was first referred to in ''FOOM'' #12 (1975). Writer Steve Gerber later stated, "I wanted to [add] a girl – a Mercurian – because there wasn't one in the group. The conception was, I think, half mine and half Mary Skrenes'." Firelord (Pyreus Kril) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Firelord first appears in Thor (Marvel Comics), Thor #225 (July 1974) and was created by writer Gerry Conway and penciler John Buscema. Fictional character biography Pyreus Kril is a Xandarian who was born on the planet Xandar, in the Andromeda Galaxy. Korvac is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in '' Giant-Size Defenders'' #3 (Jan. 1975) and was created by Steve Gerber and Jim Starlin. Publication history Korvac debuted in '' Giant-Size Defenders'' #3 (1975) with no first name given, and according to creator Gerber: "The character really was a throwaway, created for one story. And I never intended to bring him back, because, among other things, I hated the name! I still think it sounds more like a vacuum cleaner than a villain".
