Nihility
''Nihility'' is the second studio album by Polish death metal band Decapitated. It was released on 19 February 2002 through Earache Records. The German edition was issued in a green casing and contains a cover of the Napalm Death song "Suffer the Children". Critical reception After its release, ''Nihility'' received mostly positive reviews from music critics. Jason D. Taylor of AllMusic said "The vocals sound less homo sapien and more like demonic hellspawn, which intertwines with the exquisite death metal opera being performed by the rest of the band. The drumming here is relentless, pounding its way into the skull with furious determination." While Chris Bruni of Brave Words noted that the album "Musically it's tighter, the playing a bit more technical, yet not as technical as fellow country-deathsters Yattering, but still calculated, with a constant brutal flow. Decapitated is a Polish death metal band formed in Krosno in 1996. The group comprises guitarist, founder and composer Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka, vocalist Rafał Piotrowski, bassist Paweł Pasek and drummer James Stewart. Decapitated have gained recognition as one of the genre's most widely respected bands and one of the finest exponents of technical death metal. Wacław Kiełtyka
Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka (born 17 December 1981) is a Polish musician, best known as the guitarist of the death metal band Decapitated. In addition to Decapitated, Wacław has been the guitarist of Lux Occulta since 1998, as well as a former member of the Krakow group Sceptic. He also worked with the death metal band Vader. He is a graduate of musical school in the first and second degree, and attended the Academy of Music in Kraków as an accordionist. Kiełtyka auditioned for second guitarist of Morbid Angel after the departure of Erik Rutan in 2006. Before joining Vader in 2009, Kiełtyka was a music store salesman. He also worked as a guitar technician for the band Hypocrisy. In September 2019, Kiełtyka was named as the new Machine Head lead guitarist in a post on the band's Facebook page by founding member Robb Flynn. Winds Of Creation
''Winds of Creation'' is the debut studio album by Polish death metal band Decapitated. It was released through Earache Records subsidiary Wicked World on 17 April 2000. It was produced by Piotr Wiwczarek ( aka Peter), from Polish death metal band Vader. During the album's development, all of the members were notably aged 18 and younger. Drummer Vitek (born January 1984) was 15, bassist Rygiel (born April 1983) was 16, guitarist Vogg (born December 1981) was 17, and vocalist Sauron (born June 1981) was 18 at the time of recording. Critical reception After its release, ''Winds of Creation'' received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. The Negation
''The Negation'' is the third studio album by the death metal band Decapitated from Poland. It was released on 9 March 2004, through Earache Records. It is Decapitated's final album to feature vocalist Wojciech "Sauron" Wąsowicz. Critical reception After its release, ''The Negation'' received mixed reviews from music critics. William York of AllMusic praised the production saying ..is far better than on most of the big-name death metal albums released in the early 2000s. It's clear and full sounding, yet without being overly slick or digitally sanitized." Witold Kiełtyka
Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka (24 January 1984 – 2 November 2007) was a Polish musician, best known as the drummer and percussionist for the technical death metal band Decapitated, and younger brother of the musician Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka. He had been with the band since its inception in 1996, when he was only twelve years old. He also worked with the death metal bands Dies Irae and Panzer X. He used Pearl drums, Remo drumheads and Alchemy cymbals. Death On 29 October 2007, while travelling to a show in Gomel, Belarus, the bus carrying Decapitated and Crionics was involved in an accident. The tour bus collided with a truck carrying wood, causing serious head injuries to both Kiełtyka and Adrian Kowanek. The two were taken to a hospital in Novozybkov, Russia.
