Nightsleeper
''Nightsleeper'' is a six-part British television series made for BBC One, starring Joe Cole and Alexandra Roach and written by Nick Leather for Euston Films. It was released in September 2024. Synopsis A real time drama, the series is set on the fictional Heart of Britain sleeper train travelling to London from Glasgow. Two people who have not met before must work together to try to save the lives of the passengers. Real time within the media is a method in which events are portrayed at the same rate at which they occur in the plot. For example, if a film told in real time is two hours long, then the plot of that movie covers two hours of fictional time. If a daily real time comic strip runs for six years, then the characters will be six years older at the end of the strip than they were at the beginning. Nick Leather is a British playwright and screenwriter. He is known as the creator of the drama series '' The Control Room'' for BBC One, as well as the CBBC children's series '' Rocket's Island''.
