''Night Work'' is the third studio album by American band Scissor Sisters. It was released on June 28, 2010, and was preceded by the release of the lead single " Fire with Fire" on June 20. Background ''Night Work'' is actually the fourth album that the band recorded. In 2008, the band played two secret gigs, billed as Queef Latina and Debbie's Hairy, where they tested some of their newly recorded material for a third album, including "The Other Girls", "Singularity", "Not the Loving Kind", "Uroboros", "Who's There?" and a cover of Roxy Music's single " Do the Strand". Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters are an American pop rock band formed in 2000. The band's current line-up consists of Jake Shears (vocals), Babydaddy (various instruments), Del Marquis (guitar, bass) and Randy Real (drums). Former members include vocalist Ana Matronic and original drummer Paddy Boom. Scissor Sisters incorporate diverse styles in their music, but tend to sway towards pop rock, glam rock, nu-disco, and electroclash. Forged in the " gay nightlife scene of New York", the band took its name from the female same-sex sexual activity of tribadism. Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000. Moritz Friedrich (born 1976), better known by his stage name Siriusmo, is a Berlin-based German record producer. Initially influenced by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin, his tracks can be broadly defined as electronic, and are formulated with a variety of samples. Alexander Ridha (born 22 August 1982), better known by his stage name Boys Noize, is a German-Iraqi electronic music record producer, songwriter and DJ known for collaborations with artists including A$AP Rocky, Tommy Cash, and Frank Ocean (for example, producing Ocean's song "DHL") and remixes of artists including Daft Punk, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode.
