Nigel Waugh
Nigel Waugh (born 13 October 1975) is an Australian former rugby league and rugby union player. A Coogee-Wombats junior, Waugh was an occasional first-grade winger for South Sydney from 1995 to 1997, before switching in 1999 to rugby union, a sport he had never previously played. Waugh played his rugby union for Randwick as a three-quarter. Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club, also known as the Galloping Greens, is an Australian rugby union club based in Randwick City Council, a Local Government Area in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. The team competes in the Sydney premier grade rugby union competition. The club was formed in 1882. It has won 32 first grade premierships and six Australian club championships. It is one of the traditional powerhouses of the Shute Shield competition, winning 14 titles from 1978 to 1996. Randwick's colours are myrtle green and the club's home ground is Coogee Oval. The Australian Provincial Championship, or APC was a rugby union football competition played in Australia. It was one of several provincial competitions since the late 1960s, including the Wallaby Trophy and Ricoh National Championship, that have not continued. The Australian Provincial Championship was played as a single round-robin, with the top two teams playing off in a final for the title.
