Air Marshal Sir Nigel Holroyd Mills, (12 November 1932 – 18 October 1991) was a British military doctor. Career Mills was the son of Air Chief Marshal Sir George Mills. Swanley
Swanley is a town and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England, southeast of central London, adjacent to the Greater London boundary and within the M25 motorway periphery. The population at the 2011 census was 16,226. History In 1066, Swanley only consisted of a few cattle farms, surrounded in oak, sycamore and ash (Fraxinus) woodland. Because Swanley only consisted of a few homesteads, it was not mentioned in the Domesday Book. There is a theory that the placename Swanley developed from the Saxon term 'Swine-ley', "Ley" meaning a clearing in the woods and "swine" meaning pigs. So it has been suggested that it was originally a Saxon pig farm or a stopping place for pigs on the way to the markets in Kent . This later developed into what we now know as Swanley. Peter Beale (British Army Officer)
Lieutenant General Sir Peter John Beale, (born 18 March 1934) is a retired military physician. He was the Surgeon-General of the British Armed Forces from 1991 to 1994. He also served as the Chief Medical Adviser to the British Red Cross from 1994 to 2000. Early life Beale was born on 18 March 1934 to Basil and Eileen Beale. He was educated at St Paul's Cathedral School, an Independent preparatory school in the City of London, and on a music scholarship at Felsted School, a public school in Felsted, Essex. Following his preclinical studies, he received a Bachelor of Arts from Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge, which he attended as a choral scholar.
