Nigel Laughton
Nigel Ewan Felix Laughton (born 12 October 1965) is an English sports consultant and a former first-class cricketer and British Army officer. The son of Ronald Francis Gerard Laughton and Gillian Hazel Cocks, he was born at Aldershot in October 1965. After leaving Worth School, Laughton taught in Australia at Melbourne Grammar School for a year, before returning to England. After returning he undertook training for the British Army at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, being commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Black Watch in April 1986. He was promoted to lieutenant in April 1988, before being promoted to captain in April 1992. During his military career he toured Northern Ireland three times and became a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps. He was seriously injured in a helicopter crash in 1994, invalidating him out of the army due to the injuries he sustained. The Champions League Twenty20, also known as the CLT20, was an annual international Twenty20 cricket competition played between qualifying domestic teams from some major cricketing nations. The competition was mainly launched with an ambitious view of replicating the UEFA Champions League in cricket. The competition was launched in 2008 with the first edition held in October 2009. James Boiling
James Boiling (born 8 April 1968) is an Indian-born former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was born in New Delhi and educated at Rutlish School in Merton, south London. At Rutlish, he came to prominence by winning the Daily Telegraph Young Bowler of the Year award in 1986, taking 94 wickets including 10 wickets for 30 runs against Wallington Grammar School. Boiling's first-class career began in 1988, when he was signed by Surrey after appearing for them in the Second XI the previous year. This came straight off the back of appearing in all eight of the England Young Cricketers' appearances in the 1988 Youth Cricket World Cup. During his playing career played for Durham County Cricket Club, Marylebone Cricket Club and Combined Universities. he is the fast-bowling coach for the England national side. The Oxford University Parks, commonly referred to locally as the University Parks, or just The Parks, is a large parkland area slightly northeast of the city centre in Oxford, England. The park is bounded to the east by the River Cherwell, though a small plot of land called Mesopotamia sits between the upper and lower levels of the river.
