Nigel Coan
Nigel Coan is a British animator, director, and writer best known for his contributions to the television series ''The Mighty Boosh'' and ''Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy'' as well as the film ''Bunny and the Bull''. Coan first met Noel Fielding and fellow Boosh actor Dave Brown at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (now Buckinghamshire New University), where they lived and attended art school together. Along with his partner Ivana Zorn and their production company ''Nipple'', Coan has produced work for companies such as Canon, Volvo, and Honda. Coan was responsible mainly for the animated sequences in ''The Mighty Boosh''. With the ''Luxury Comedy'' series he not only contributes animation but shares in the writing and directs episodes as well. The Mighty Boosh (TV Series)
''The Mighty Boosh'' is a British comedy television show created by Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding and others (collectively known as The Mighty Boosh). A surreal comic fantasy, it often featured elaborate musical numbers in different genres, such as electro, heavy metal, funk, and rap. The show is known for popularising a style called "crimping"; short ''a cappella'' songs which are present throughout all three series. Julian Barratt wrote the music within the show, and performed it with Noel Fielding. Fielding also designed many of the show's graphics and artwork. ''Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy'', known as ''Luxury Comedy 2: Tales from Painted Hawaii'' for series two, is a British surreal comedy television series written and directed by Noel Fielding and Nigel Coan. The initial format for the series changes after the first series, with series one being a surreal sketch show, and series two being a sitcom. The series stars Noel Fielding, his brother Michael Fielding, Tom Meeten, Dolly Wells, and occasionally Rich Fulcher, Dave Brown, and Richard Ayoade. The first episode premiered on 26 January 2012 on E4. Noel Fielding
Noel Fielding (; (born 21 May 1973) is an English actor and comedian. He is best known for his work with The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside Julian Barratt in the 2000s, and more recently as a co-presenter of '' The Great British Bake Off'' since 2017. He is known for his dark and surreal comedic style. In the 1990s, Fielding began performing stand-up comedy and met Barratt on the comedy circuit. Together, they produced a 2001 radio series called ''The Boosh'' for BBC Radio London. Dave Brown (born 24 August 1973) is a British comedian, designer and photographer. In ''The Mighty Boosh'', he played Bollo the Ape, as well as several other minor characters. He also choreographed the dance routines. He is originally from Southend in Essex, where he attended South East Essex College (now part of South Essex College) and then Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (now Buckinghamshire New University), along with Noel Fielding (who plays Vince Noir).
