Niek Kimmann
Niek Kimmann (born 20 May 1996 in Lutten) is a Dutch BMX racing cyclist. Kimmann is the reigning Olympic Champion BMX Racing, a three-time World Champion, one-time European Champion, three-time Dutch Champion, and two-time World Cup Supercross winner. He is also a two-time junior World Champion. Career Kimmann, born in Lutten., started BMXing at age seven, after attending a classmate's BMX training. At age 15, he joined the Dutch National Team at the Olympic Training Center in Papendal. During the 2014 UCI BMX World Championships, Kimmann won the Junior World Title in both racing and time trial. In August 2014, together with Wiebe Scholten, he won a bronze medal in the team boys event at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. He started racing in Elite in 2015. Hardenberg
Hardenberg (; nds-nl, Haddenbarreg or '' 'n Arnbarg'') is a city and municipality in the province of Overijssel, Eastern Netherlands. Joris Daudet (born 12 February 1991) is a French racing cyclist, and World Champion who represents France in BMX. Born in Saintes, he won all twelve events on the European BMX tour in 2011. That year, he also won the World Championship. He achieved a second place in the time trial event at the 2013 BMX World Championship, and then regained the BMX World Championship in 2016. Sjinkie Knegt (; born 5 July 1989) is a Dutch short track speed skater. Career He competed for the Netherlands at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the men's 500 m, 1000 m, and 1500m. Short-track speed skating is a form of competitive ice speed skating. In competitions, multiple skaters (typically between four and six) skate on an oval ice track with a length of . Robert de Wilde (born April 30, 1977, in Kampen) is a Dutch professional "Mid/Current School" Bicycle Motocross (BMX) racer whose prime competitive years were from 1990 to 2003. His nicknames are "The Flying Dutchman" in reference to his speed and his nationality and "Afro-Bob" because of his long wild, uncombed hair. The Circuit Zolder, also known as Circuit Terlamen, is an undulating motorsport race track in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. History Built in 1963, Zolder hosted the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix on 10 separate occasions in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as the 1980 Belgian motorcycle Grand Prix. F1 moved to Zolder in 1973 and with the exception of a race at Nivelles-Baulers in 1974, Zolder was the location of the Belgian Grand Prix until 1982. That year, Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve was killed during qualifying at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. Villeneuve's Ferrari 126C2 collided at speed with the March 821 of Jochen Mass. Cycling At The 2014 Summer Youth Olympics
Cycling at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics was held from August 17 to August 24. The events took place at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center and Laoshan National Forest Park in Nanjing, China. Format For the Youth Olympics, athletes competed in teams instead of competing separately. In the boys' and girls' team event, two athletes compete together. Each of the two riders must compete in two of the following events, with only one team member competing per event: BMX, Mountain Bike Cross-country Race, Mountain Bike Cross-country Eliminator and Road Time Trial. Both members will also have to compete in the Road Race event. For the mixed team relay, two boys and two girls formed a team.
