Nicolás Dematei
Nicolás Diego Dematei (born 19 November 1987) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Gimnasia Jujuy. Career Ateneo de la Juventud, Flandria and Sarmiento were Dematei's opening youth teams, prior to joining Argentinos Juniors. He was loaned to Atlético Tucumán in 2008, they selected him twenty times in the 2008–09 Primera B Nacional as they won promotion as champions. Dematei had stints with Sarmiento and Defensa y Justicia. After appearing twice for Florencio Varela team, he returned to Sarmiento on 30 June 2011. They won the 2011–12 Primera B Metropolitana title in his first season, which gave promotion to the second tier. He stayed for 2012–13, scoring his first Sarmiento goal against Aldosivi in the process. Dematei switched clubs to Instituto on 30 June 2014. One goal and nineteen matches followed. Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, (English "National B Division"), and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 38 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. The 2008-09 Primera División season was the 118th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina and the nineteenth season in which the Apertura and Clausura system is used. Boca Juniors won the Apertura championship for their 29th national title after a three team playoff with Tigre and San Lorenzo. The Clausura championship was won by Vélez Sársfield for their 7th national title. Gimnasia y Esgrima (J) and San Martín (T) were relegated to the Primera B Nacional. The 2012–13 Primera División season was the 122nd season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. It started on August 3, 2012 and ended on June 29, 2013. Twenty teams competed in the league, eighteen returning from the 2011–12 season and two promoted from the Primera B Nacional Championship (Championship winners River Plate and runners-up Quilmes).
