Nicolet Law is an American personal injury law firm headquartered in Hudson, Wisconsin. It was founded in 2007 by Russell Nicolet. History Nicolet Law was founded in 2007 by Russell Nicolet after his graduation from law school at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. The firm has grown from a single-room office in Hudson, Wisconsin. The firm has expanded and has offices in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. In December 2024, the firm moved to an expanded office in Milwaukee. Nicolet Law is known for its frequent use of billboards as part of its marketing strategy making Russell Nicolet a well-recognized face in the midwest. A cartoon version of his bald head, sunglasses, and beard were featured on over 100 billboards in Minnesota in 2025. The firm's first billboard went up in 2008 and Nicolet, known for his unconventional image for an attorney, became a regional celebrity. Hudson, Wisconsin
Hudson is a city in and the county seat of St. Croix County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, its population was 14,755. It is part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. William Mitchell College of Law was a private law school from 1956 to 2015 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA), it offered full- and part-time legal education in pursuit of the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Charlie Berens
Charlie Berens (born April 27, 1987) is an American journalist, comedian, and creator of "Manitowoc Minute", known for his southern Wisconsin accent. He has been featured on FOX, CBS, ''Funny or Die'', TBS Digital, ''Variety'', and MTV News. His observational humor often focuses on the Midwest. Early life Berens was born into a Catholic family as one of twelve children. He grew up in the Wisconsin towns of Elm Grove and New Berlin.
