Nico Menzel
Nico Menzel (born 11 December 1997 in Adenau) is a German racing driver who last raced for Car Collection Motorsport in International GT Open. He is a Porsche contracted driver and has won the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and has also taken two class wins at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in both 2020 and 2021. Early career Following a career in karts, Menzel made his single-seater debut in 2013, racing in the final edition of the Formula BMW Talent Cup. Having taken one win in the test races, Menzel won race two at the Grand Final held at Oschersleben and finished runner-up to Robin Hansson in the standings. In 2014, Menzel joined Schiller Motorsport to compete in the final season of the ADAC Formel Masters. Menzel scored a best result of fifth at Zandvoort and concluded the season 12th in points. Adenau () is a town in the High Eifel in Germany. It is known as the ''Johanniterstadt'' because the Order of Saint John was based there in the Middle Ages. 2021 24 Hours Of Spa
The 2021 24 Hours of Spa (also known as the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa for sponsorship reasons) was the 73rd running of the 24 Hours of Spa. It took place from 29 July–1 August 2021. The race was part of both the 2021 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the 2021 Intercontinental GT Challenge. Background After being delayed the previous year to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Belgium, the race returned to its traditional end of July date for 2021. Spectators were allowed for the race, but were restricted to two bubbles and were required to wear a mask at all times. Initial plans also would have required spectators to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result for the COVID-19 virus, but this was scrapped days before the event. The Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) is an organisation of motorsport clubs of which each hosts one event of a nine-race series held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Participants of NLS races range from amateurs in small road legal cars with rollcages and harnesses to professional factory teams racing Group GT3 cars. The NLS series is closely associated with the Nürburgring 24 Hours, as it has similar rules (mostly), and mainly the same participants. In the calendar, several weeks around the 24h date in May/June are taken off to allow teams to prepare for the 24h, and to fix their cars afterwards. The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. The 2018 GT4 European Series was the eleventh season of the GT4 European Series, a sports car championship created and organised by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO). The season began on 7 April at Zolder and ended on 16 September at the Nürburgring. It was the first season, after it was renamed from GT4 European Series Northern Cup to GT4 European Series. Mikkel Jensen (born 31 December 1994) is a Danish racing driver. Career Karting Jensen began karting in 2010 and raced in his native Denmark for the majority of his career. He ended his karting career in 2012, moving into single-seaters. ADAC Formel Masters 2013 saw his debut in the ADAC Formel Masters championship with the Lotus-monikered Motopark Academy team.
