Niclas Bendixen
Niclas Bendixen (born 8 April 1972) is a Danish director. He won the Reumert prize for the production of the play ''69'', and the musical ''En kort en lang''. His first television series just aired on Danish national television DR1, the show is called ''Ditte & Louise'' which he directed all 8 episodes of the first season. At the moment his prize-winning show ''En Kort En Lang'' is running at Nørrebro theatre. Danish Language
Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. Romeo & Juliet
''Romeo and Juliet'' is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about the romance between two Italian youths from feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and, along with ''Hamlet'', is one of his most frequently performed plays. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers. ''Romeo and Juliet'' belongs to a tradition of tragic romances stretching back to antiquity. Dyrehavsbakken
(), commonly referred to as (), is an amusement park in Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune, Denmark, near Klampenborg ( Gentofte municipality), about north of central Copenhagen. It opened in and is the world's oldest operating amusement park. With 2.5–2.9 million visitors per year, it is the second most popular attraction in Denmark, after the more widely known Tivoli Gardens amusement park. Unlike Tivoli, admission is free. History The origins of Dyrehavsbakken can be traced back to 1583 when Kirsten Piil discovered a natural spring in what is now known as Jægersborg Dyrehave or Dyrehaven, a large forest park north of Copenhagen. Cirkus Revyen
CirKus are a trip hop band formed by Burt Ford (Cameron McVey), Karmil (aka Matt Kent), Lolita Moon and Neneh Cherry. History DJ and producer Karmil was recruited by Burt Ford (Neneh's husband Cameron McVey) as an assistant recording engineer. They began to work on their own material at Karmil's home studio in London. Ford was singing, then Karmil's girlfriend Lolita Moon (Neneh and Cameron's daughter Tyson) was asked to sing on some tracks. Eventually Neneh Cherry joined the team and performed rapped/sung vocals. Ford and Karmil convinced Cherry to move to Sweden and the band settled in Cherry's country house near Malmö and recorded their first album ''Laylow'', released in 2006. They are currently based between Stockholm and London. ''Laylow'' received negative reviews from the BBC, stating it as "mostly uninspired and smoothed to an unpleasant sheen." Bellevue Teatret
The Bellevue Teatret (English: Bellevue Theatre) is a theatre in Klampenborg at the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. Opened in 1936 to the design of Arne Jacobsen, the building is considered one of his most important architectural works and exemplar of Danish functionalism. The theatre is part of a scheme also including the adjoining Bellevue Beach and residential block and was, at the time, seen as a manifestation of "the dream of the modern lifestyle". History In the early 1930s, Arne Jacobsen won a competition for a masterplan for the Bellevue area im Klampenborg, Gentofte Municipality, shortly after opening his own architectural office in 1930. Forum Copenhagen ( da, Forum København, italic=no) is a large multi-purpose, rentable indoor arena located in Frederiksberg, Denmark. It hosts a large variety of concerts, markets, exhibitions and other events. The venue can hold up to 10,000 people depending on the event.
