Nick Zachernuk
Nick Zachernuk (born September 17, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He currently plays lead on Team Matthew Manuel. He is a two-time defending Nova Scotia Tankard champion and a four-time Nova Scotia junior champion. Career Youth In his junior career, Zachernuk won four straight Nova Scotia junior championships from 2015 to 2018 with skip Matthew Manuel. The duos first two titles came with teammates Ryan Abraham and Alec Cameron. At the 2015 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team lost in a tiebreaker 6–4 to Ontario's Mac Calwell, finishing tenth overall with a 4–5 record. The following year, they again finished in tenth at the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, this time with a 5–4 record. Matthew Hall (curler)
Matthew Hall (born July 10, 1997 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays second on Team Rylan Kleiter. He was a member of the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships gold medallist team. Career Juniors In 2013, Hall and his rink of Phil Malvar, Mackenzie Reid and Cody McGhee won the Ontario Bantam Boys Championship. The team went on to represent Ontario at the 2015 Canada Games, where they picked up a silver medal. The following season, Hall joined the Doug Kee junior team at second. The team won the Ontario Junior Championships and represented Ontario at the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where they finished with a 5–5 record. James Grattan (curler)
James Grattan, nicknamed "Jimmy the Kid" (born July 28, 1974, in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Oromocto, New Brunswick. He currently skips his own team. Career Grattan's best personal result as a skip at the Brier is third place (). In 2002–2004 he played third for Russ Howard. He skipped again in (5–6 in Regina), after defeating Dan Sherrard in the New Brunswick Tankard final, and (2–9 Winnipeg), after defeating Jeremy Mallais in the provincial final. Superstore Monctonian Challenge
The Superstore Monctonian Challenge (men's event) or the Superstore Lady Monctonian (women's event) is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at Curl Moncton in Moncton, New Brunswick. The Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel ran from 1968 to 1987 and, was re-created in 2005 after a hiatus due to a lack of sponsors. Luke Malicah Saunders (born November 17, 1993) is a Canadian curler and tennis player from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He currently plays third on Team Owen Purcell. He is a two-time defending Nova Scotia Tankard champion and former NCAA Division I tennis player. Curling career Juniors Saunders qualified for one Canadian Junior Curling Championship in 2013, playing second for Stuart Thompson. At the provincial championship, the team of Thompson, Scott Babin, Saunders and Alex MacNeil went undefeated to claim the title. Representing Nova Scotia in Fort McMurray, Alberta, the team went through the round robin and championship pools with an 8–2 record, earning a spot in the playoffs. Robert Mayhew (curler)
Robert Mayhew (born October 8, 1993 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian curler. He is the son of 1977 World Junior champion lead Alan Mayhew. Robert Mayhew has represented the Nova Scotia at the 2011 Canada Winter Games and the 2014 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Career For the Under 15 Mayhew curled with teammates Alex Macneil, Joe Organ, and Ben Organ. Together they did not win any Nova Scotia Under 15 titles. Mayhew left the team to join with Michael Brophy, Jacob LeBlanc and Eric Sampson. This team played together for one year with minimal success, after which, Brophy and LeBlanc left the team. Mayhew and Sampson joined forces with Nick Burdock and Dillon O'Leary to attempt to represent Nova Scotia at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax in 2011. Dalhousie Tigers
The Dalhousie Tigers are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Tigers field 14 varsity teams with seven men's teams and seven women's teams that primarily compete in the Atlantic University Sport conference of U Sports.
