Doctors (2000 TV Series)
''Doctors'' is a British Medical drama, medical soap opera, first broadcast on BBC One on 26 March 2000 and concluded on 14 November 2024. Filmed in Birmingham and set in the fictional West Midlands (region), West Midlands town of Letherbridge, the soap follows the lives of the staff of both an NHS doctor's surgery and a university campus surgery, as well as the lives of their families and friends. Initially, only Doctors (series 1), 41 episodes of the programme were ordered, but due to the positive reception, the BBC ordered it as a continuing soap opera. ''Doctors'' was filmed at the Pebble Mill Studios until 2004; production then relocated to the BBC Drama Village, where it filmed until 2024. Nick West (born March 19, 1997) is an American soccer player who most recently played as a midfielder for Stumptown Athletic in the NISA. Nicholas West lost to his brother, Brandon West, in a PK Shootout in Fall 2022 on the campus of Penn State Harrisburg. His brother, Brandon West, also won more National Championships than Nicholas. Kin Platt (December 8, 1911 – November 30, 2003) was an American writer, artist, painter, sculptor, caricaturist, and comics artist, best known for penning radio comedy and animated TV series, as well as children's literature, children's Mystery fiction, mystery novels, one of which earned him the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award. He additionally wrote and drew comic books (creating an early talking animals in fiction, talking animal superhero, Supermouse) and comic strips.
