Nick Wallace
Nick Wallace (born 1972) is a novelist and short story writer based in Tunbridge Wells, best known for his work in Doctor Who spin-offs. Biography Wallace works in media consultancy in London, advising on script development and programme acquisition for broadcasters and production companies worldwide. His first published work was the short story ''Five Dimensional Thinking'' in the Big Finish Productions Bernice Summerfield short story collection, '' Life During Wartime'' (Big Finish Productions, 2003), edited by Paul Cornell. The short story ''UNIT Christmas Parties: First Christmas'' followed in the Short Trips collection '' A Christmas Treasury'' (Big Finish Productions, 2004), also edited by Paul Cornell. Wallace's first novel, ''Fear Itself'' was published in 2005. The novel, which Wallace says was inspired by Ian Rankin’s Inspector Rebus novels, has had a positive reception from reviewers and fans alike. Royal Tunbridge Wells
Royal Tunbridge Wells (formerly, until 1909, and still commonly Tunbridge Wells) is a town in Kent, England, southeast of Central London. It lies close to the border with East Sussex on the northern edge of the Weald, High Weald, whose sandstone geology is exemplified by the rock formation High Rocks. The town was a spa in the Restoration (England), Restoration and a fashionable resort in the mid-1700s under Beau Nash when the Pantiles, and its chalybeate spring, attracted visitors who wished to take the waters. Though its popularity as a spa town waned with the advent of sea bathing, the town still derives much of its income from tourism. The prefix "List of place names with royal styles in the United Kingdom, Royal" was granted to it in 1909 by King Edward VII; it is one of only three towns in England with the title. The Gallifrey Chronicles (2005 Novel)
''The Gallifrey Chronicles'' is a BBC Books original novel written by Lance Parkin and based on the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was the last of the Eighth Doctor Adventures range and features the Eighth Doctor, Fitz Kreiner, and Trix MacMillan. This book, along with a few others in the series, was reprinted in 2011 and is available as an e-book. Plot The Eighth Doctor, accompanied by Fitz Kreiner and Trix MacMillan, overthrows the tyrant Mondova on an alien world, prevents a time-travelling alien from interfering in Ancient Roman history, and stops a Dalek (never named as such, but heavily implied) invasion of Mars. Justin Richards
Justin Richards (born 14 September 1961) is a British writer. He has written science fiction and fantasy novels, including series set in Victorian or early-20th-century London, and also adventure stories set in the present day. He has written many spin-off novels, reference books and audio plays based on the long-running BBC science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', and he is Creative Consultant for the BBC Books range of ''Doctor Who'' novels. Life Richards was born in Epping, Essex, on 14 September 1961. After attending Dean Close School in Cheltenham he obtained a BA (Hons) in English and Theatre at the University of Warwick. As well as his literary career, Richards has worked as a technical writer, editor, programmer, and user interface designer at IBM, and as an errand boy in a hotel.
