Nick Sylvester
Nick Sylvester is an American record producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music executive. He is best known for his writing and production work with Channel Tres and Yaeji, and as the creative co-founder of Godmode Music. Early life and education Sylvester was born and raised in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia. In high school, he played trumpet professionally in wedding and jazz bands. Sylvester attended Harvard University, where he was a writer for The Harvard Lampoon concurrently with Colin Jost, Simon Rich, and Zach Kanin. In 2002, Sylvester raced Albert Hammond Jr. and Julian Casablancas of The Strokes in a go-kart race hosted by the Lampoon in the streets of Cambridge. Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper and singer. Born and raised in Carol City, Florida, Curry started rapping while in the sixth grade and began working on his first mixtape in 2011. Honey Redmond (known professionally as Honey Dijon) is an American DJ, producer, and electronic musician. She was born in Chicago and is based in New York City and Berlin. She has performed at clubs, festivals, art fairs, galleries and fashion events internationally. Shopping is a British post-punk trio based in London and Glasgow. Its members are Rachel Aggs (guitar and vocals), Billy Easter (bass guitar and vocals), and Andrew Milk (drums and vocals), who formed the band in November 2012 out of their previous band, Covergirl. Deerhoof are an American musical group formed in San Francisco in 1994. They currently consist of founding drummer Greg Saunier, bassist and singer Satomi Matsuzaki, and guitarists John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez. ''Shut Up and Play the Hits'' is a 2012 documentary film directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace that follows LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy over a 48-hour period, from the day of the band's final gig at Madison Square Garden to the morning after the show.
