Nick Sentience
Nick Fryer (born 1979 or 1980), better known as Nick Sentience, is a British electronic dance music disc jockey and hard dance music producer from Portsmouth, England. He is known for his fusion of music genres including techno, hard house, and trance. Several of his releases have charted in the United Kingdom. Career Nick Fryer grew up in Portsmouth, England, and began DJing at the age of 15. He was originally part of a music production group called Sentience with Martin Dawson and Tom Neville; the groups debut CD ''An Eye For An I'' was released on Nukleuz in 1998, with some tracks from the album eventually appearing in the video game '' Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now''. The group disbanded soon after, and Fryer adopted the group's name as his own. At age 18 he was signed to Nukleuz. ''Muzik'' was a British dance music magazine published by IPC Media from June 1995 to August 2003. ''Muzik'' was created by two former ''Melody Maker'' journalists, Push and Ben Turner. Push was the editor of ''Muzik'' from its launch until he left the magazine in 1998, at which point Turner took over as editor. The title was subsequently edited by Conor McNicholas, who went on to edit '' NME''. Aimed at serious dance music fans rather than weekend clubbers, ''Muzik''s writers included a number of well-known DJs, including Kris Needs, Rob da Bank, Spoony, Terry Farley, Bob Jones, Jonty Skrufff and Dave Mothersole. BK (musician)
BK is the working name of the English hard house producer Ben Keen (born 16th October 1975, Woodford, London). His "Revolution" single became one of the few hard house records to receive regular airplay on daytime BBC Radio 1, and between 1995 and 2005, he produced over one hundred 12" singles. He was the last artist to reach the UK Singles Chart with a vinyl only release ("Revolution"). He secured six hits in the UK chart. BK started his career in production at the age of 16, when employed as a trainee engineer. He moved later to writing music for both film and television, having gained recording studio experience at Media Records. He progressed to recording his own music for Nukleuz Records, and performing worldwide as a club DJ. Creamfields
Creamfields is an electronic dance music festival series founded and organised by British club promoter Cream, with its UK edition taking place on August Bank Holiday weekend, with a number of international editions held across various territories worldwide. First held in 1998 in Winchester, the festival moved to Cream's home city of Liverpool the following year, taking place on the old Liverpool airport, before moving to its current location on the Daresbury estate in Cheshire. The festival, having initially begun as a one-day event with 25,000 people in attendance, is now a four-day event with camping options hosting 70,000 per day. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France.
