Nick Sanchez
Nicholas A. Sanchez (born June 10, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado for Rev Racing. He is the 2022 ARCA Menards Series champion. Racing career Sanchez began racing at the age of twelve in go-karts at his home track of Homestead-Miami Speedway. Sanchez tried out for NASCAR's Drive for Diversity program and was accepted into it, and as a result, was given a ride with Rev Racing in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series as well as the then-NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2019. He made his debut in both races of the doubleheader at South Boston Speedway and then made another start later in the year at New Hampshire. Pocono Raceway (formerly Pocono International Raceway), also known as ''The Tricky Triangle'', is a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The WhosYourDriver.org Twin 100s is a dual NASCAR K&N Pro Series race held annually at South Boston Speedway. From 2007 to 2011, the race was held as a 150-lap race. 2022 General Tire 150 (Phoenix)
The 2022 General Tire 150 was the second stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series, the first race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series West and the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the third iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, March 11, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent low-banked tri-oval race track. The race was run over 154 laps due to an overtime finish. Taylor Gray of David Gilliland Racing would win the race after leading 43 laps. This was Gray's first career ARCA Menards Series win and his fourth career west series win. The 2022 ARCA Menards Series West is the 69th season of the ARCA Menards Series West, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began on March 11 at Phoenix Raceway with the General Tire 150 and will end with another race at Phoenix Raceway on November 5. Jesse Love, who has won the championship for the last 2 years, will not go for a three-peat, as he revealed in an interview with ''Frontstretch'' that he would not return to the West Series full-time in 2022. Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines.
