Nick Neidert
Nicholas William Neidert ( ; born November 20, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins. Career Neidert attended Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. He committed to play college baseball at the University of South Carolina. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Seattle Mariners He signed with the Mariners and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Mariners where he pitched to a 0–2 record and 1.53 ERA in 11 starts. Neidert pitched in 2016 for the Clinton LumberKings, posting a 7–3 record with a 2.57 ERA in 19 starts. He spent 2017 with both the Modesto Nuts, with whom he was named a California League All-Star, and the Arkansas Travelers, going a combined 11–6 with a 3.45 ERA in 25 starts between both teams. New Orleans Baby Cakes
The New Orleans Baby Cakes (formerly the New Orleans Zephyrs) were a Minor League Baseball team in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They were located in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, and played their home games at the Shrine on Airline. The team began play in 1993 as a member of the Triple-A American Association (AA) when the Denver Zephyrs relocated to New Orleans. They joined the PCL in 1998. New Orleans has qualified for the postseason on three occasions and has won the PCL championship twice as the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros (1998 and 2001). Jupiter Hammerheads
The Jupiter Hammerheads are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in the town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County, Florida, and play their home games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Opened in 1998, the park seats 6,871 people. They share the facility with the Palm Beach Cardinals, also of the Florida State League. On May 23, 2011, the Hammerheads gained national attention after playing in a 23-inning game against the Clearwater Threshers. The Florida Complex League Marlins are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Miami Marlins, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in Jacksonville, Florida, and are named for shrimp caught in the area. The team plays their home games at 121 Financial Ballpark, which opened in 2003. They previously played at Sam W. Wolfson Baseball Park from 1962 until the end of the 2002 season. Devaris "Dee" Strange-Gordon (born April 22, 1988) is an American professional baseball second baseman, shortstop, and center fielder who is currently a free agent. He has played Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners and Washington Nationals. Robert Dugger
Robert Lee Dugger (born July 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has previously played in MLB for the Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays, Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds. Amateur career Dugger attended Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas. In 2013, as a senior, he led Tomball to a Texas UIL 4A State Championship, throwing a complete game in which he allowed only one run while striking out six, along with going 3–4 at the plate, including a three-run inside-the-park home run. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Travelers are affiliated with the Seattle Mariners as members of the Texas League. The California League is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in California.
