Nick Mayhugh
Nicholas "Nick" Mayhugh (born February 27, 1996) is an American T37 and T38 Paralympic sprint runner and soccer player. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. Soccer Mayhugh played soccer at Radford University from 2015 to 2018. He also played for the United States men's Paralympic soccer team where he helped team USA win a bronze medal at the 2019 Parapan American Games in the 7-a-side football, their first ever medal in the event at the Parapan American Games. He finished second in the tournament with eight goals in six games. He was subsequently named U.S. Soccer Player of the Year with a Disability in 2019. Para-athletics Mayhugh represented the United States in the men's 100 metres T37 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics where he set a world record with a time of 10.95 and won a gold medal. The 2019 Parapan American Games (), officially the VI Pan American Games and commonly known as the Lima 2019 ParaPan-Am Games, were an international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities, celebrated in the tradition of the Parapan American Games as governed by the Americas Paralympic Committee, which was held from August 23 to September 1, 2019 in Lima, Peru. Bidding process Four bids were submitted for the 2019 Pan and Parapan American Games, and they were officially announced on February 1, 2013. These were Lima in Peru, Santiago in Chile, Ciudad Bolívar in Venezuela and La Punta, San Luis, La Punta in Argentina. The United States men's national CP soccer team, formerly known as the United States Para 7-a-side national team, represents the United States in men's CP football international competitions. It is operated by the United States Soccer Federation. The team finished seventh at the 2015 IPCPF World Championships.
