Nick Lieberman
Nick Lieberman is an American filmmaker and son of Robert Lieberman and Marilu Henner. He is best known for his work on the independent mockumentary comedy film '' Theater Camp'' (2023), a feature adaptation of the 2020 short film of the same name, which he co-directed with Molly Gordon and co-wrote the screenplay with Gordon and actors Ben Platt and Noah Galvin. His breakthrough feature, it received positive reviews and was purchased by Searchlight Pictures for $8 million and was given a limited theatrical release. Prior to this, he worked on commercial projects for Samsung, Billboard, and Fendi, and music videos with artists such as Ben Platt and Remi Wolf. Robert Lieberman
Robert Lieberman (born July 16, 1947) is an American motion picture and television director. Personal life Lieberman was married from June 27, 1990 to June 7, 2001 to actress Marilu Henner; the divorced couple has two children, Nicholas Morgan and Joseph Marlon. He also has two children, Erin and Lorne Lieberman, from his first marriage. Lieberman married former model Victoria Peters in 2010. Career Lieberman was the founder of the commercial production company Harmony Pictures and has, himself, directed close to two thousand commercials. He has received many Clio nominations and has won 29. Lieberman in 1980 was the first winner of the DGA Award for Best Commercial Director. Mary Lucy Denise Henner is an American actress. She began her career appearing in the original production of the musical '' Grease'' in 1971, before making her screen debut in the 1977 comedy-drama film '' Between the Lines''. In 1977, Henner was cast in her breakthrough role as Elaine O'Connor Nardo in the ABC/NBC sitcom ''Taxi'', a role she played until 1983 and received five Golden Globe Award nominations. A mockumentary (a blend of ''mock'' and ''documentary''), fake documentary or docu-comedy is a type of film or television show depicting fictional events but presented as a documentary. These productions are often used to analyze or comment on current events and issues by using a fictional setting, or to parody the documentary form itself. While mockumentaries are usually comedic, pseudo-documentaries are their dramatic equivalents. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement.
