Nick Holz
Nick Holz (born March 26, 1984) is an American professional football coach and former player who is the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and has previously been a coach with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Stanford Cardinal, Oakland / Las Vegas Raiders, UNLV Rebels, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Early life Holz was born on March 26, 1984, in Walnut Creek, California. He grew up in Danville, California, and attended De La Salle High School in Concord, where he was teammates with Maurice Jones-Drew and Brian Callahan. Holz played football as a wide receiver at De La Salle and was named the team's Most Inspirational Player as a senior, helping them win the state championship while having 10 receptions for 93 yards. Bill Callahan (American Football Coach)
William E. Callahan (born July 31, 1956) is an American football coach who is the position coach, offensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2002 and 2003, leading them to Super Bowl XXXVII, where the Raiders lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 48–21. He was also the head coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football, Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2004 to 2007 and interim head coach for the Washington Redskins in 2019. Mason Crosby
Mason Walker Crosby (born September 3, 1984) is an American former professional football placekicker. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes, and earned unanimous All-American honors. The Green Bay Packers selected him in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL draft. Crosby spent 16 seasons with the Packers, where he was a member of the team's Super Bowl XLV championship team, and became the franchise's all-time leading scorer. After leaving the Packers after the 2022 season, Crosby had a brief stint with the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad in 2023 before signing with the New York Giants later in the season. In gridiron football, the holder is the player who receives the snap from the long snapper during field goal or extra point attempts made by the placekicker. The holder is set on one knee seven yards behind the line-of-scrimmage. Before the play begins, the holder places the hand which is closest to the placekicker on the ground in a location designated by the kicker's foot, with their forward hand ready to receive the snap (in high school games, the holder/kicker combo is responsible for a kicking block, which lifts the ball off the turf). Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from their team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. In most cases, after making the catch, the receiver will then proceed to run towards the opposing end zone carrying the ball and try to score a touchdown, unless the play ends due to him being downed or forced out of bounds.
