Nick Duron
Nicholas Gregory Duron (born January 30, 1996) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played college baseball for Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 31st round of the 2015 MLB Draft and pitched in one game in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies. Career Duron was born in Salinas, California. He attended Everett Alvarez High School in Salinas and Tigard High School ('14) in Tigard, Oregon. He then attended Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, for whom he was 2–1 with a 3.75 earned-run average, and struck out 40 batters in 36 innings. Gulf Coast League
The Florida Complex League (FCL) is a rookie-level Minor League Baseball league that operates in Florida, United States. Before 2021, it was known as the Gulf Coast League (GCL). Together with the Arizona Complex League (ACL), it forms the lowest rung on the North American minor-league ladder. FCL teams play at the minor league spring training complexes of their parent Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs and are owned by those parent clubs. Admission is not charged to FCL games, and no concessions are sold. Every Grapefruit League team fields at least one team in the league. Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. They are located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and they are named in reference to pig iron, used in the manufacturing of steel, for which the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania is well known. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Modesto Nuts
The Modesto Nuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Modesto, California, and are named for the several types of nuts grown in the Central Valley. They play their home games at John Thurman Field, which opened in 1955.
