Nicholas Kole
Nicholas Kole (born November 30, 1983) is an American pair skater. He currently competes with Amber Kole. They teamed up in 2006 and placed 16th at the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships. In 2007 they came second at the 2008 Midwestern Sectional Championships and 13th at the 2008 United States Figure Skating Championships. Kole was born in Littleton, Colorado. His first competition partner was Maroc Fassel, from 1997 to 1999. Kole subsequently competed with Brittany Vise, with whom he had a lot of success on the junior level, winning five medals on the Junior Grand Prix, including the silver medal at the 2005 Junior Grand Prix Final. They came sixth at the 2004 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. They competed three times as seniors on the Grand Prix circuit. Their highest placement was fifth at the 2005 NHK Trophy. World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The World Junior Figure Skating Championships (''"World Juniors"'' or ''"Junior Worlds"'') is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters within a designated age range compete for the title of World Junior champion. The ISU guidelines for junior eligibility have varied throughout the years – currently, skaters must be at least 13 years old but not yet 19 before the previous 1 July, except for men competing in pair skating and ice dancing where the age maximum is 21. The Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. Skaters compete in five levels: Senior, Junior, Novice, Intermediate, and Juvenile. Medals are awarded in four disciplines: Ladies singles, Men's singles, Pairs, and Ice dance. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The Rostelecom Cup (russian: Кубок Ростелекома), formerly the Cup of Russia (russian: Кубок России), is an international, senior-level figure skating competition held as part of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series since 1996. The Skate Canada International is an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition organized by Skate Canada. It is the second competition of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating season. The location changes yearly. The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of the United States. The competition is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. In the U.S. skating community, the event is often referred to informally as "Nationals". The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final or JGP Final (titled the ISU Junior Series Final in the 1997–98 season) is the culmination of a series of junior-level competitions – the ISU Junior Grand Prix organized by the International Skating Union.
